A more sustainable, environmentally-friendly mobile home

The growing importance of eco-friendly mobile homes in the outdoor hotel industry
With the rise of responsible tourism, more and more holidaymakers are looking for an experience that allows them to reconnect with nature while reducing their environmental impact. An eco-friendly mobile home meets these expectations by incorporating technologies, materials and equipment that minimise the ecological footprint. As a result, campsites and leisure parks are naturally turning to this type of accommodation to renew their stock and move into the low-carbon era.

The Hatha solution in the O'Hara range: the first passive mobile home model
O'Hara is breaking new ground with its Hatha solution, a passive mobile home designed to reduce energy and water consumption. Thanks to ultra-reinforced insulation and appropriate ventilation, it is a true 4-season mobile home that can be occupied all year round. The mobile home's white roof and windows, roller shutters and wooden cladding guarantee occupants excellent thermal comfort during their holidays, whatever the season.
In terms of equipment, the reversible air conditioning and thermodynamic hot water tank (optional) significantly reduce energy consumption: -79.5% less electricity consumption than a standard mobile home. Taps with flow restrictors and an ingenious system for recycling shower water help to limit wastage and preserve water as a natural resource.

A sustainable approach integrated into every stage of the manufacturing process
When you choose an O'Hara eco-friendly mobile home, you can be sure that the product has been designed in line with an overall sustainable approach, based on an analysis of the product's life cycle. From the selection of materials to construction, distribution and even dismantling, every stage takes into account the social and environmental impact.
In addition to this concern for the environment, the mobile homes in the O'Hara range have a modern, elegant design that meets the needs of customers who prefer comfort and aesthetics, without neglecting their ethical values.

We take responsibility for our mobile homes at the end of their life
Since 2011, O’HARA has been part of Eco Mobil-Home, a private non-profit company helping campsites dispose of mobile homes which can no longer be used, free of charge.
O’HARA completes the virtuous circle of temporary accommodation by taking responsibility for it at the end of its life. Eco Mobil-Home supports the industry by working with approximately 25 deconstruction partners and 20 sites which are able to dismantle the homes.
